Daniel Anidugbe, popularly known as Kizz Daniel, a Nigerian artist has explained why he is unable to criticise his older colleague, Ayo Balogun, well known as Wizkid.

Kizz Daniel revealed this following a social media altercation with Davido’s followers on the X platform.

Expressing admiration for Kizz Daniel, one of Davido’s fanbase @TUMMYOF30BG wrote, “Bro, but 30BG love you sha. Just know that.”

The Buga crooner replied “Then let 30BG show it. Y’all are rugged and hyped, Vaddicts are calculative and wise, perfect blend.”

While referencing the ongoing rift between Wizkid and Davido, a fan of the latter challenged Kizz Daniel to diss the ‘Essence’ crooner.

The fan of Davido with the handle @continentalBoy2, wrote: “Diss Wizkid Abeg I want to check something.”

In response, Kizz Daniel declined the challenge, stating that it would be unwise to disrespect those who have paved the way for him in the music industry.

He wrote, “I bet 30BG will love this. Na machala and baddest workings most of us dey enjoy now, it will be unwise my brother Respect the ones before you.”

‘Wizkid Was A Studio Rat, Not Fortunate Enough To Afford Studio Time’
Meanwhile, Nigerian music executive, Olubankole Wellington, better known as Banky W, has reflected on the early career struggle of Afrobeat singer, Ayo Balogun, professionally known as Wizkid, before coming to the limelight.

In a viral video online, Banky W, who was pivotal in launching Wizkid’s career through his record label, Empire Mates Entertainment, EME, said the ‘Ojuelegba’ crooner spent hours hanging around various studios because he could not afford studio time.

Wizkid’s dedication and talent were recognised by the music executive who called the singer a studio rat.
