Benue State’s Executive Governor, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, recently announced a transformative cooperation with Huawei Technologies to create a “Smart Benue State.”
Governor Alia shared the news on Facebook, highlighting the historic agreement struck at Huawei’s headquarters in Shenzhen, China, which represents a significant step towards a contemporary, digitally connected Benue.
This ambitious partnership with the technology firm aims to revolutionize infrastructure, enhance security, improve education and healthcare, and create extensive job opportunities for the people of Benue.
Governor Alia emphasised the need of deliberate development, emphasising his dedication to expanding the state for the sake of current and future generations.
