An outage on Elon Musk’s social media platform X seemed to subside after thousands of users in the U.S. and the UK reported issues on Monday, according to outage-tracking website Downdetector.com.
Data given by users on Downdetector indicated that the number of reports in the U.S. decreased from over 21,000 instances to 403 as of 6:24 a.m. ET.
Downdetector tracks outages by gathering status reports from various sources, including direct user feedback, providing a comprehensive view of service disruptions. At its peak in India, the outage detector registered over 1,100 reports. However, the services seem to have resumed as there is a sharp decline in reports.
According to the website, reports in the UK decreased from 10,800 to about 200.
